Asbill to serve as MASA Southwest Region President
Richard Asbill, Superintendent of the Cassville R-IV School District, is the Missouri Association of School Administrator’s (MASA) Southwest Region President for 2016-2017.
As a regional president, Asbill will organize monthly meetings for superintendents in the southwest region of Missouri. The goal of these meetings is to provide superintendents with the latest local, state and national education information as well as provide professional development opportunities that will allow them to positively impact the lives of the students they serve.
Roger Kurtz, MASA Executive Director, said, “Our regional presidents are leaders of leaders. Asbill and the other regional presidents play a vital role in the execution of our association’s strategic plan to develop innovative, future-focused leaders in every Missouri school district. We are grateful to Asbill for sharing his leadership skills with the association.”
The Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA) is the only statewide association in Missouri that exists for the purpose of serving the needs of school superintendents and central office administrators with an interest in the superintendency.
