CMS Industrial Arts Program Receives Walmart Community Foundation Grant
The Cassville Middle School (CMS) Industrial Arts and Technology department has received a $2,000 grant from the Walmart Community Foundation and Facility #914.
Funds received from the grant will be used to purchase a 3-D printer and a 60 inch flat screen television. Industrial Arts students will be able to build individualized models and/or generic items and print them on the 3-D printer.
The television will be mounted in the classroom and will provide better visibility to students when looking at designs, robotic builds and code.
Both the printer and television will be used by students enrolled in either an Industrial Arts or Project Lead the Way course. Both courses are taught by Mr. Robbie Artherton.
