goBEC & Cassville Schools Partner to Keep Public Informed During Severe Weather
With public safety at the forefront of this project, Cassville Schools and goBEC Fiber Network have installed 60 inch televisions with goBEC cable services in both FEMA shelters on the campus of Cassville R-IV School District.
In an effort to keep the community and/or staff and students aware during severe storms, the TV carts will be brought out into the general seating area of the shelter if the shelter has been opened due to a storm. goBEC has provided the cable service at no cost to the district.
goBEC is a subsidiary of Barry Electric Cooperative that provides both commercial and residential fiber optic internet technology to Barry County.
