CMS to Host Enrollment Fair for 2018-19 School Year
On Monday morning, April 16, current 6th and 7th grade students will take part in an Elective Course Enrollment Fair designed to expose all students to the offerings for each grade at Cassville Middle School.
Small groups of students will circulate to visit with elective course teachers about their classes, their pre-requisite requirements, and their role in Career Preparation through both co- and non-curricular clubs.
Students will be bringing home specific course descriptions and an elective course enrollment form to share and review with parents. The enrollment form will need to be signed by parents and returned with their selected courses for the 2018-19 school year.
This is the third year CMS has held an Elective Course Fair, but will be the first time it has been completed during the school day. Parents and students are encouraged to review the information together, and to contact the Middle School Office with any questions pertaining to scheduling.
Current 5th grade students will not be participating in this year's fair due to a scheduling change that will expose all 6th grade students next year to Art, Choir, FACS, Computer Literacy, Health, and Intervention. All 6th grade students will have the option to participate in Band, and will receive a full year of PE that will include Hunter Safety education/certification and DARE.
