Preschool Screening for the 2025-26 School Year
Launch the media gallery 1 playerEunice Thomas Elementary School invites three and four year old children living in the Cassville School District to preschool screening. Preschool screening will take place on April 7 and April 9 in the FEMA 1/Event Center, located by the football field.
Parents of three and four year old children may call the primary office at 417-847-2445 to schedule an appointment. Children must be at least three years old before the date of the screening.
The BRIGANCE Early Childhood Screens III test will be used. This assessment tool screens children in the following areas: physical development, language development, academic skills/cognitive development and self-help and social-emotional skills. The screening will take at least thirty minutes to complete.
Children who are currently enrolled in the Cassville R-IV Preschool or who will be eligible to attend kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year do not need to participate in this screening.
Screening results will be used to determine eligibility for the district's preschool program.
