CMS and CHS Students Compete at TSA State Competition
Cassville Middle School (CMS) and Cassville High School (CHS) Technology Students Association (TSA) recently competed in the state TSA competition in Warrensburg at the University of Central Missouri.
The top five entries in each division earn a state medal. High school students earning a medal have qualified for the national competition that will be held in June.
CMS results are as follows:
- Forensic Technology, fourth place, team members include: Jonah Cupps and Jack Chappell
- Coding team, second place, team members include: Cupps and Colton Hurst
- Vex IQ Robotics, second place, team members include: Cupps, Dade Zajac and Hurst
- Technology Bowl, first place, team members include: Chappell, Cupps and Zajac
CHS results are as follows:
- CHS Senior Gracie Harmon received the Robert Stokes Leadership Scholarship in the amount of $1000
- CHS Senior Avery Chappell received the Caleb Crews Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1000
- Video Game Design, fourth place: Kayden Fuchs
- Audio Podcasting, fourth place, team members include: Fuchs, Bentley Barber, Chappell, Andrew Gray and Joseph Reuter
- On Demand Video, third place, team members include: Christian Renkoski, Christopher Henry, Colton Cox and Chaney Cox
- Animatronics, third place: Cannon Rose
- Manufacturing Prototype, third place, team members include: Cohen Adams and Chance Bowling
